Matriarchy: Oppressing men is not the solution
Feminism was meant to destroy patriarchy and misogynist. It was meant to stand on same level as men, not above or below. It was never meant to oppress Men.
Equality and freedom to make our own decisions, to live our lives in our own way without pressure from others, and to take responsibility for our decisions and equal opportunities for education and careers. And yes, we still need feminism because we still have a long way to go before everyone gets the same rights and freedoms to make decisions — without parental, family and social pressure. And the struggle against patriarchy and for equal access to justice is far from over.
But, there exists a fake feminism too. Which is direct threat to equal rights and this movement.
Putting fake allegations of sexual and physical assault, fake dowry cases, playing woman card to bring situation to their advantage, and assaulting men etc. has ruined lives of many men and families, and this actually needs to stopped.
Back in 2015 Jasleen Kaur a pseudo-feminist took advantage of this special privilege that women in India had recently started garnering and shamed Sarvjeet Singh. He was defamed, lost his job. was also called A ‘PERVERT’ and a “POTENTIAL RAPIST” on national television. It was only after four years that he was proven innocent.
Another such case for fake dowry is very popular Nisha Sharma Dowry case. Where it took 9 years to get justice.
But again, you know about courts and justice system in India. Everyone is not lucky to get justice.
I know many individuals, where normal ego clash registered as domestic violence case or fake dowry case. I know many cases, where a girl wants to enjoy freedom & rights with zero responsibility.
Ashmit Thakur, a Noida based IT engineer narrates “, She was good, free bird type. Everything was good for initial 6–7 months. But then she started calling me looser, though I wanted a small 2BHK, but just because of her, I bought 3BHK in Noida Center. She was working , but still didn’t want to contribute to Home loan. She always compared me with her friends/sisters' husbands, that they had big businesses, big houses etc. These were the main things which spoiled our relation, we started arguing, daily ego clashes, daily verbal fights. But it was never physical and never meant to demean anyone. Now, it’s more than 5 months, I am still visiting court, police station just for false domestic violence and dowry case. I spent more than 1 month in Jail too. “
Good part, Ashmit and her wife were staying alone in Noida. Otherwise, I saw many cases, in which families also need to suffer due to these false cases.
How patriarchy is used to abuse women, in the same way, fake Feminism can be painful for men. Patriarchy and fake feminism, both have negative effects on both genders.
Feminism is needed, but it should not be taken to the point of turning into oppressing men.
We need to stop looking at feminism negatively, give the wrong tone in the word ‘feminazi’, and start identifying fake women who spread the wrong agendas.
Because we need an open world where both genders are equal; neither do we need patriarchy, nor matriarchy.
